Kathryn Holliday Daniels, 62, of Weldon, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Liberty Commons.

Kathryn was a native of Halifax County, the daughter of the late Harry Lee Holliday and Mason Edwards Holliday. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harry Lee Holliday, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Ray Daniels of Weldon; her daughter, Jennifer L. Smith and her husband, Adam, of Pikesville, NC; her son, Dennis “Denny” Pittman, Jr. and his wife, Tonya, of Trout, LA; seven grandchildren, Johnathan Paul Smith, Klarissa Grace Smith, Morgan Pittman, Mason Pittman, Victoria Pittman, Steven Daniels, and Stephanie Daniels; her sister, Bonnie Johnson and her husband, Mike; her niece, Crystal Johnson, all of Raleigh; and her stepson, Alan Ray Daniels and his wife, Renee, of Roanoke Rapids.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.
